About the role

Q CELLS Enable is the EPC branch of Qcells for the Commercial and Industrial market. Our mission is to be a world class designer and installer of large-scale PV and ESS systems throughout the US.  We are based in NYC.  Our position as a leading module manufacturer means we are able to offer end to end solutions for project developers.  We are expanding our offerings and have several open positions currently.  POSITION DESCRIPTION:The Talent Acquisition Associate (Recruiter) formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to hiring managers and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. You will own full-cycle recruitment from sourcing, attracting, interviewing, and hiring staff.  Concentrating on all roles within the Qcells Enable Division. The Talent Acquisition Associate (Recruiter) maintains an effective level of business literacy, the business hiring plan, the business goals, the company culture and its competition. The Talent Acquisition Associate (Recruiter) will have a strong emphasis in talent acquisition. The position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
The Talent Acquisition Associate (Recruiter) Role reports to the Sr. Human Resources Manager or other senior management personnel that the President or CFO of the Company may designate.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with hiring managers and key stakeholders to engage and educate leaders on best recruitment practices;
  • Influence the overall hiring strategy of the organization to ensure all teams consist of a diverse set of qualified individuals;
  • Ensure staffing needs are being met while creating and implementing an end-to-end candidate pipeline to source and hire candidates;
  • Support the full cycle recruitment process - schedule and conducts pre-screen interviews, background checks, present offers, and go through the official company approval process;
  • Provide strategic support and guidance for all departments in a variety of career levels (entry level, technical, engineering, installation, electrician, professional, administrative, sales and executive levels);
  • Proven track record of successfully sourcing candidates for diversity hiring (through various job boards, virtual and in-person job fairs, job posting activities);
  • Utilize sourcing strategies using various and diverse platforms to effectively manage the talent acquisition process;
  • Specific duties will include: screening candidates; creating effective job descriptions and interview questions; and organizing and attending job fairs and recruitment events at schools and in the community
  • Passion for creating positive candidate experiences at every touch point;
  • Contacts candidate’s former employer(s) to verify professional references; verifies character references when appropriate.
  • Take on various recruitment and HR projects and perform additional duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate degree from an accredited institution with at least 3 years of hands-on recruiting experience, or; a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of hands-on recruiting experience
  • Ability to interact professionally with staff at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong direct sourcing skills in recruiting passive a candidates
  • Knowledge of staffing best practices, recruiting and selection skills (with focus on diversity)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and keep records of all materials used for recruitment, including interview notes and related paperwork to share with key stakeholders
  • Strength to work well in a dynamic and constantly changing environment, along with the confidence to provide effective feedback while maintaining positive and strong partnership with stakeholders
  • Ability to multi-task and meeting multiple, tight deadlines
  • Proven team player, self-motivated, proactive, and taking initiative is necessary for this role
  • Proficiency with PC software, including MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS ·       Knowledge of New York Employment and Labor laws·       Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems·       Marketing background is a plus·       Advanced reporting skills using Excel
