Job DetailsLevel: ExperiencedJob Location: REMOTE (United States) - Remote, VA 22211Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: Not SpecifiedTravel Percentage: Occasionally Job Shift: DayJob Category: Professional ServicesBMA is seeking a Software Application Tester to support the Joint Additive Manufacturing Model Exchange (JAMMEX) program. This is a fully remote role supporting the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).

 

Job Summary

Perform weekly validation of stage and development environments and maintain accurate validation logs.
Conduct daily production environment validations and ensure all results are properly documented.
Execute monthly Unix patch validations across development, stage, and production environments, updating logs accordingly.
Conduct quarterly Oracle patch validations for development, stage, and production environments and record outcomes.
Maintain and update test cases within Microsoft Teams.
Complete 22DEV environment validations following deployments to ensure system readiness and stability.
Create detailed Jira bug tickets for any identified issues, including clear documentation and reproduction steps.
Develop, maintain, and improve test plans to support application quality and deployment readiness.
Process AMPS access requests for new users and ensure proper permissions are assigned.
Utilize Selenium (or another automated testing software that the government allows) to automate test scenarios and support continuous testing efforts.

Clearance Requirements 

There is a Secret Security clearance requirement for this position. 

 

Required Skills & Certifications 

Maintain an active Security+ certification or another qualifying IAT Level II certification.
Experience with environment validation and production support activities
Experience with Unix/Linux environments and patch validation processes
Experience supporting Oracle environments and patch validation
Experience with defect tracking and ticketing tools such as Jira
Experience developing and maintaining test plans, test cases, and validation documentation
Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium (or similar)
Experience managing user access requests and permissions (AMPS or similar systems)
Strong documentation skills and attention to detail for validation logs and test results
Experience supporting deployment validations and post-release testing activities
