About the TeamOur Renewals Desk team is responsible for managing the renewal process for Outreach’s current customer base. You will lead a largely new function within Outreach and help us define and scale the renewal program from its current state to a world class team and process. The team will consist of 8-10 Renewals Specialists located in Seattle and Atlanta who are each responsible for hundreds of renewals each quarter.
At Outreach, we win as a team and you will find that this team is well resourced with access to cross functional teams such as Account Managers (we call them Growth AE’s), Customer Service Managers and Support professionals. All who have a vested interest to help the Renewals team be successful. You will also be able to be a hands-on leader who maintains a manageable Rep to Manager ratio which will allow you to be present in their day to day and provide prescribed coaching so that your team has the highest likelihood of success within their role.
RoleAs a Senior Manager, Renewals you will be empowering your Renewals Specialist to act as the CEO of their book of business and equip them with the necessary tools and knowledge to successfully retain customers. Specifically, you will enable and empower them to execute a scalable renewal process which you will have a hand at defining. In addition to being a front line leader, we are also looking for an individual who is passionate about building out systems and processes. We have been highly successful retaining our customers through grit and determination, we now need to scale our program to the world class level our customers expect.
This will be a builder role and all builders with renewal management experience are encouraged to apply.
Location: Seattle or Atlanta with in-office expectations of 3-4 days a week.

Your Daily Adventures Will Include
- Contribute to the winning environment by facilitating a culture of self development and accountability - we protect the number at Outreach and leaders do everything they can to achieve it
- Assist Renewals Specialist in building and managing a territory plan that builds a realistic plan towards quota achievement
- Accurately identify risk within renewals and work with your team, internal partners and executives to mitigate those risks
- Forecast renewals appropriately using Outreach’s forecast methodology
- Lead and coach the renewals team while collaborating with customer success and sales to ensure a positive renewal experience
- Serve as an escalation point for contract negotiations and collaborate with legal as needed
- Collaborate with Account Management and Customer Success Management leadership to develop renewal strategies by segment to increase teams efficiency
- Grow revenue by analyzing customer base data and identifying cross-sell/upsell opportunities
- Manage team's metrics to reach renewal targets and KPI’s
- Drive customer retention and expansion by identifying process improvements and collaborating with internal stakeholders
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures to meet renewal best practices
Our Vision of You
- 7+ years of experience in SaaS renewals
- 3+ years of team leadership experience
- Results-driven coach, mentor and role model who manages and develops best-in-class talent and drives group results through teamwork and individual performance improvement
- Background in leading customer experience and process improvement initiatives - we need someone who can bring scale
- Proven track record of renewal target achievement
- Excellent objection-handling, conflict management, and negotiating abilities
- Quantitative skills needed to price, negotiate, and amend key economic contract terms
- High proficiency with Salesforce and Tableau
- Superior time management skills
- Proactive attitude with a focus on KPI-driven results
- Learner mindset continuously seeking mastery of our product and industry
