Preventative Maintenance Technician | Frederickson, WA

🕒 Schedule:

• Monday to Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• Overtime: 3–10 hours/week on average

💵 Compensation:

• Base Pay: $29.00 – $30.25/hour
• Shift Differential: +$1.50/hour
• Total Starting Pay: $30.50 – $31.75/hour

🔧 Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance on garbage trucks, trailers, and yellow iron equipment
• Use fleet maintenance software to manage service records
• Conduct safety inspections and maintain a clean, OSHA-compliant shop
• Collaborate with drivers to identify and resolve vehicle issues
• Complete repairs based on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs)

✅ Qualifications:

• Experience in commercial vehicle maintenance preferred (not required)
• Valid driver’s license
• Basic tool set and toolbox
• Basic computer skills and ability to use diagnostic tools
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
