The Program Manager works closely with college and university partners to coordinate weekly overview visits and large-scale recruitment events. Additionally, they serve as the primary lead for ambassador led high school outreach across targeted districts, working to enhance engagement and increase access to engineering education. This role also involves: leading the recruitment team in facilitating prospective student overviews, individual meetings, and campus tours; advising a 70+ member student ambassador organization, ensuring meaningful student engagement in recruitment efforts; supporting CARE Connected student volunteers to enhance peer-led recruitment efforts; hiring, training, and supervising student recruitment staff; collaborating with the Director of Undergraduate Recruitment to research, develop, and implement recruitment strategies tailored for high school students; collecting, analyzing, and reporting enrollment and recruitment data to inform decision-making; serving as the primary contact for recruitment webpages, ensuring accurate and engaging content; traveling to and participating in local, regional, and national recruitment events.
