Senior Production Supervisor

Step into the pivotal role of Senior Production Supervisor at our Rome, GA plant, where your foresight shapes the future of food production. This on-site position places you at the heart of operations, collaborating with a team dedicated to excellence in food manufacturing. You’ll lead the charge in refining processes, championing cost-effective strategies without compromising on our high standards for safety, quality, and efficiency. Your leadership will guide a dynamic team through daily processing and packaging operations through the night shift hours from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM (flexibility is required).

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

• Set the Pace - Directing all activities for your production line(s) in accordance with goals, product standards, costs, budgets, manpower, and established procedures.
• Impact Results - Identifying opportunities to eliminate cost and/or waste through applying Kellanova Work Systems (KWS/TPM) principles as well as driving Continuous Improvement activity throughout the facility.
• Take a New Angle - Identifying, developing, and implementing best practices for safety, quality, and equipment maintenance using problem-solving skills and root cause analysis to resolve and/or mitigate operational issues.
• Collaborate to Win - Incorporate a culture of inclusion and continuity within all departments, while acting as champion for operations.
• Drive Efficiency - Performing schedule adherence monitoring and make necessary adjustments due to downtime, inventory, demand, and projection fluctuations.  Additionally, manage unplanned downtime through proper equipment operation and preventative maintenance.

 

We’re Looking for Someone With

 

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Proven leadership and supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of managing safety and/or quality programs & processes
• The ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing requests while maintaining a culture of accountability and execution - with a focus on results
• The ability to coach and drive the KWS/TPM process; support Grassroots/Pillar teams; and lead the development of our operation's team
• Technical aptitude with proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience in the Food & Beverage industry preferred

 

Compensation

The annual salary range is $72,600-$99,880, which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
