Inpatient Occupational Therapist, PRN

What You Will Do

  • Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals.
  • Provide skilled therapeutic interventions to support recovery and functional independence.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to ensure coordinated care.
  • Educate patients and families on therapy goals, progress, and home programs.
  • Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge summaries accurately and timely.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to hospital initiatives.
  • Support a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

What You Will Need

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited academic program.
  • Licensure: Certified Occupational Therapist in the State of Indiana; CPR certification required.
  • Experience: Previous clinical experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
    • Commitment to patient-centered care and professional development.
