The Royal Caribbean Group’s Human Resources has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Director of HR Projects reporting to the VP of HR Celebrity and Silversea.


This position will work on-site in Miami, Florida.

 

POSITION OVERVIEW:

 

The Director of HR Projects will deliver the value of driving a competitive advantage for the Celebrity and Silversea Brands, through cutting edge transformation & strategic projects that will continue to shape and evolve the future of the brands. From identifying and building the People agenda associated with Key projects from the brands, to coordinating delivery, engagement of stakeholders, driving engagement, being the liaison with Data and Analytics, this position will have oversight of all aspects of Key projects from beggining to end.

 

The Director will partner directly with the VP of HR for Celebrity and Silversea and functional executives across the enterprise and provide end-to-end leadership to the portfolio of programs and projects, while leveraging best practices in program & project thinking, planning and service development of a portfolio, including the execution of the  initiatives.

 

The role will require superior cross functional leadership & collaboration with Executives across the groups to influence strategic goals. Additionally, this position will translate plans into numerous programs, projects, and roadmaps that drive the departments key performance indicators and meet the defined objectives and outcomes for the enterprise. This leader will serve as the central point and governance for all the combined HR initiatives.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Lead and oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of  the HR portion of various brand Strategic initiatives, ensuring their timely and successful delivery.
  • Implement organizational health initiatives, promoting a healthy and optimized workforce.
  • Optimize operating models of current or future business unites, identifying opportunities for improvement and driving change.
  • Mobilize teams across the enterprise in both Shared Services and respective Brands to carry out initiatives;
  • Provide leadership and visibility to value creation efforts for workforce planning initiatives, ensuring value delivery and alignment with overall HR and Brands strategies
  • Lead brand-focused, executive-driven initiatives, fostering collaboration, influence, and partnership across the organization.
  • Establish governance, capabilities, and a foundation for HR to deliver value for organizational health initiatives, ensuring transparency and visibility.
  • Lead programs ranging from strategic planning to operational process design, ways of working, program design and implementation.
  • Deploy and oversee transformative projects that require change management. Typical projects include large scale operating models, outsourcing initiatives (>100 full time equivalents) and complex improvements that are operational critical.
  • Serves as an in-house transformation and program management leader that elevates the groups project management standards and practices, while expanding the departments impact and scale.
  • Oversee outsourcing, nearshoring, and offshoring initiatives, optimizing resources for maximum value and efficiency to the enterprise. This will require close collaboration with GBS, vendors and several functional executives.
  • Partner with and influence functional leaders to deliver value to the Brands on projects that are sensitive and high stakes.
  • Ability to navigate through ambiguity, bring simplify complexity and ability to adapt as new projects evolve and shift.
  • Manage the HR risk as part of projects, consulting with Legal on several initiatives to ensure compliance with Global Employment laws
