Oregon Equipment Sales (OES) operates 3 equipment dealerships in the Willamette Valley, OR. We are primarily a Kubota dealer that also carries supporting equipment lines for the agricultural, construction, and consumer markets. Our focus is on finding the right solution for our customers’ needs, while providing industry leading support and expertise. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Generation: Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the equipment industry. Develop and execute strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential      customers. Provide exceptional customer service and follow-up to ensure      customer satisfaction. 
  • Product Knowledge:  Maintain an in-depth understanding of our products and services. Educate customers on the features and benefits of our products, and how they meet their needs.
  • Market Analysis:  Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs. Provide feedback to the management team to help shape sales strategies.
  • Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential customers. Demonstrate the value of our products through in-person meetings, product demonstrations, and virtual presentations.
  • Negotiation and Closing:  Negotiate terms and close sales deals with customers. Ensure all sales transactions are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records in the CRM portal of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales performance. Prepare regular reports for the Sales Manager.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement sales campaigns. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales,  preferably in the agricultural or heavy machinery industry.
  • Strong understanding of the equipment      industry and related products.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.

Requirements

 Qualifications:

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel software.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • 1-2 years of experience preferred

LANGUAGE AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS

  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information to management.

REASONING ABILITY

  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral form.
