The People and Culture Team functions to deliver people-centered initiatives that positively impact the business and the employee experience.

About the Role:

The Human Resources Business Partner drives talent and business outcomes for our Engineering, Marketing, and Product departments. Reporting to the SVP People & Culture, you will proactively work with leaders to understand business objectives and challenges while collaborating closely with other People Culture team members. This role is required for candidate to be based Southern California and requires 15% travel. 

You Will:

• Partner with Engineering, Product, and Marketing leaders to understand business needs and provide direction that drives critical business decisions
• Collaborate with leadership on organizational design, people strategy, employee engagement, and needed change initiatives to support the broader talent strategy
• Serve as a coach and confidant to the business team leaders for personal growth and professional success
• Empower senior and middle managers to take accountability for the challenges within their organizations
• Use people metrics and benchmarking to drive key insights and decisions for talent growth, engagement, and retention
• Consult with business leaders and management on workforce planning, partnering closely with the Recruitment team on sourcing and hiring top talent for critical roles
• Build and foster an inclusive and diverse culture aligned with Invoca’s vision, mission, and values

You Have:

• 4-5+ years of progressive People Operations (Human Resources) experience with 3+ years as an HR business partner or equivalent experience
• Proven track record in successful start-ups or tech companies with an understanding of key roles and positions within our space
• Experience with technical engineering organizations as business partners
• Experience with organizational design and effectiveness, change management, performance management, leadership coaching, learning, employee relations, change management, development programs, total rewards, and compliance.
