Description


Under the direction of the Director of Clinical Operations, the Sr. Manager, Clinical Operations oversees the clinical operations of clinics in California. This role ensures the smooth and efficient functioning of these clinics, maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations and HealthyU’s policies and standards.


Supervisory Responsibilities:

· Manages the operations of clinics in California.

· Supervises MA Leads, Medical Assistants (MAs), and clinical support team members.

· Conducts staff training, development, and assigns responsibilities.

· Manages employee-related functions including performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.


Duties/Responsibilities:

· Oversees the day-to-day operations of clinics in California, ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to policies.

· Monitors state and clinical compliance and consistency across all California clinics.

· Manages and is physically present for clinic inspections to ensure facilities meet state and federal standards.

· Manages facilities and oversees procurement processes for medical supplies and equipment.

· Develops and implements training programs for Lead MAs, MAs, FO, and other clinical staff to enhance their skills and ensure high-quality patient care.

· Participates in the development, implementation, and maintenance of HealthyU policies and procedures.

· Handles patient escalations and complaints, addressing issues promptly and escalating trends to higher management as needed.

· Assists in budget planning and cost analysis to optimize clinic operations.

· Coordinates with internal and external partners to enhance clinic performance and patient care.

· Ensures that quality and safety measures meet state, federal, and HealthyU requirements.

· Facilitates and participates in team huddles, training sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

· Creates ad-hoc reports for special projects or follow-up items as required.

· Performs other duties as assigned to support the overall goals and operations of HealthyU.

Requirements

  

Qualifications:

· Ability to travel daily to various clinics

· Bachelor's degree in healthcare management, business administration, or a related field

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical setting

· MA Certification or Licensed Nurse

· Strong leadership and team management skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

· Proficiency in healthcare management software and tools.

· Knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations and standards, particularly for California.

· Experience in managing facilities, procurement processes, and training and development of clinical staff.

· Ability to handle patient escalations effectively and professionally.
