As a Security Professional - Financial Branch Patrol PT in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence and professional demeanor. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting with access control, and providing outstanding customer service to all visitors and staff. You will play a key role in supporting a welcoming and secure environment, all while upholding our company values of reliability, agility, and integrity through teamwork and a people-first approach.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for personnel and visitors.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure atmosphere.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas of the financial institution location while remaining alert to unusual circumstances.
• Complete security-related documentation and reports accurately and in a timely fashion as required by Allied Universal and client procedures.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or law enforcement as required by situations encountered on site.
• Follow all applicable protocols and instructions from Allied Universal management and site leadership while assisting with access control and visitor management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
