Position Overview:As a Software Engineer specialising in Python and Kubernetes, you will play a pivotal role in building and scaling Atlan's connector ecosystem. Building and managing infra for connectors.
Ideal Candidate Profile (ICP):The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python development with significant exposure to Kubernetes. They will have demonstrable experience building high-impact internal systems within the SaaS industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy Horizon, our connector ecosystem.
• Utilize python and Kubernetes to architect and implement scalable, distributed systems.
• Optimize system performance and reliability through proactive monitoring and tuning.
• Address adoption barriers for internal users by continuously enhancing Horizon's features and usability.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• 2 to 5 years of experience building distributed systems primarily with Python.
• Strong proficiency in Kubernetes orchestration and containerisation.
• Strong experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on Python.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Familiarity with database systems, both SQL and NoSQL, and experience with data modeling and database design.
• Experience in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
