Job Description

The Customer Service Representative is the point person for all customer service needs, in particularly for Accounts Receivable. The CSR is primarily responsible for collecting payments and resolving delinquent accounts.

Minimum Pay Rate (hourly)  -$18.00
Maximum Pay Rate (hourly) -$20.00

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Job analyses will be reviewed periodically as duties and responsibilities change with business necessity. Essential and marginal (non-essential) job functions are subject to modification. Nothing in this job analysis restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities for this job.

    1. Assist Manager with customer needs and complaints.
    2. Must be proficient in Google Chrome and Microsoft Office Software (particularly Microsoft Excel).
    3. Respond to all email inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
    4. Must collect and track rent payments.
    5. Must create a plan and execute the plan to collect all outstanding balances on unit rentals.
    6. Make phone calls to collect delinquent payments. (heavy call volume)
    7. Must send reminder letters for delinquent accounts.
    8. Maintain a professional and calm demeanor when communicating with customers.
    9. Must complete light janitorial tasks such as; sweeping out vacant units, tidying up the office (including restroom), and keeping the workspace cleared from clutter. 

    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably within Accounts Receivable. Experience in hospitality, retail, sales or customer service will also be considered.
    • High School diploma or equivalency certificate required.
    • Valid Driver's License, a good driving record, current motor vehicle insurance which meets State requirements, and an operable vehicle that meets FPI’s Driving Standards and Personal Vehicle Use policy.
    • Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
    • Strong computer skills (MS Office, Google Apps, email, internet).
