About the role
<p>Working closely with the Head of the EU Affairs Office in a supporting role, the task of the intern include:</p><p>• Monitoring of EU policies and drafting notes (Mobility, Emissions Regulations, Road Safety, Digitalisation, Energy, Environment and Climate etc.);</p><p>• Attendance of and reporting on policy events in Brussels;</p><p>• Attendance of and reporting on association meetings;</p><p>• Assisting with research and analysis of policy issues;</p><p>• Helping with formulating advocacy and position papers;</p><p>• Preparing and assisting in outreaches.</p>
<p>• University degree in European studies, politics, communications, economics, law or business (preferably at a Master level).</p><p>• Dynamic, excited about European affairs, able to feel ownership of their projects and see them through;</p><p>• Excellent organizational skills;</p><p>• Excellent written and spoken English. Fluency in German is a plus;</p><p>• Excellent networking and social skills with a special attention to adapt to various intercultural settings;</p><p>• Good analytical, conceptual and strategic thinking skills;</p><p>• Flexibility, willingness to learn and adapt;</p><p>• Ability to work independently and as part of an international team</p><p>• Understanding of EU institutions functioning is a plus;</p><p>• Interest in transport/mobility, digitalization, energy, environment and climate.</p>
