Compensation

At S&C, we are dedicated to providing competitive and equitable compensation for all our team members, and we are committed to transparency in our pay practices. The estimated annual base salary range for this position $94160 - $124762. Individual pay within this salary range is determined by several compensable factors, including performance, knowledge, job-related skills and experience, and relevant education or training. This role is also eligible for S&C’s annual incentive plan (AIP), subject to eligibility criteria. 

 

Join Our Team as a Senior Financial Analyst!

Are you passionate about Finance? S&C Electric Company is seeking a dynamic individual to coordinate our financial analysis function. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you’ll be crucial in ensuring smooth operations and supporting our diverse team. The Senior Financial Analyst leads the preparation and analysis of financial reports, develops and monitors budgets, and provides strategic insights to support high-level decision-making. This role partners with value stream leaders to drive financial performance, ensures compliance with financial regulations, and spearheads process improvements to optimize resource allocation and profitability. Additionally, the Senior Financial Analyst identifies and mitigates business risks, mentors junior analysts, and plays a key role in supporting the company's long-term operational and financial objectives. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare timely month-end and quarterly reports, analyze monthly financial statements, including variance analysis, and present findings to management.   
  • Assist management with identifying and evaluating business drivers, KPIs, and trends to support strategic decision-making and operational improvements. 
  • Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts, providing insights for improvement, driving planning accuracy, and ensuring alignment with corporate goals for a production Value Stream. 
  • Partner with value stream leader to drive financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to optimize financial outcomes. 
  • Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends, variances, and key performance drivers, providing actionable insights to Value Stream leader. 
  • Support operational excellence for manufacturing financial processes, including cost accounting and analysis, inventory valuation, and manufacturing performance and risk reporting. 
  • Support working capital and free cash flow improvement with ad-hoc plans on inventory reduction and managing capital expenditures budget and process. 
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations. 
  • Assist process improvement and cost-saving initiatives and optimize resource allocation to protect and increase the company’s profitability. 
  • Develop financial modeling for business strategies and plans, including capital expenditure viability and Production Operations business transition activities. 
  • Identify and mitigate business risks and organization blind spots to curb inefficiencies. 
  • Understand and comply with all applicable Company policies and rules 

 

What you’ll Need To Succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 
    Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. 
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial software. 
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft 365 Business Suite (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) 
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.  
  • Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting practices, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
