As a Security Patrol for Commercial Buildings in Gardena, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more .

In this unarmed position, your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough inspections and monitoring throughout the property, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to tenants, visitors, and staff. This is a driving post, so you will utilize company-approved vehicles to cover larger areas efficiently. You will interact professionally with people on-site, respond to incidents, and provide exceptional customer service, all while upholding the core Allied Universal values of integrity, teamwork, and putting people first. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any unusual occurrences, hazards, or security-related issues encountered during patrols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate daily activity reports and incident logs as required by Allied Universal and client procedures.
• Support access control measures by monitoring entrances, exits, and visitor activities within the location.
• Collaborate with on-site staff and local authorities as needed in response to emergencies and/or incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a valid driver's license in the state where the job is located and meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
