Compensation: ₱75,000 - ₱175,000 / month
Description
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Estimator to join our team. Responsibilities include performing precise estimates, material take-offs, consolidating data, preparing detailed estimates, RFQs, vendor pricing, and securing subcontractor quotes. The role also involves developing bids, and change orders, training junior estimators, and maintaining relationships with General Contractors. - Perform all levels of estimating
- Accurately take-off all material, lighting, power based on specifications and drawings
- Responsible for the accurate consolidation of all data from the take-off sheets to estimating software program
- Must have the ability to prepare detailed electrical estimates based on limited conceptual design information
- Prepare RFQs and evaluate vendor pricing
- Responsible for determining which phases or scopes of work for the project that will be performed by a subcontractor, securing and verifying quotes
- Develop bids and change orders supplying the estimated cost data to the Assistant Project Manager
- Assist in estimating training for junior estimators as necessary
- Develop and maintain relationships with General Contractors
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- A minimum of 8-10 years of electrical estimating experience in the commercial industry
- Knowledge of Conest Intellibid Software
- Experience with preparing, completing, and reviewing complex estimates with senior management decision-makers
- Experience and strong knowledge in advanced construction estimating processes like structural, architectural, and mechanical documents and specifications and their impact on electrical scope
- Able to review BOM of subcontractors, suppliers, and material quotes. Determine completeness, and compliance with bid documents and make recommendations to Executives
- Experience with Design-Build
- Knowledge of NEC, jurisdictional codes, and construction methods
- Must have strong organizational and communication skills
