We offer:
Training period: comprehensive 10-week training period - 8 weeks in the field working side by side with a dedicated trainer & 2 weeks classroom-based training in Loveland, CO.
3 days off per week! After completion of training, your schedule will consist of 4 shifts per week at 10-hour days based on workload demand. (Tuesday to Friday)

Reporting to the Field Service Manager the Field Service Technician I is responsible for the delivery of high-quality customer service, performing preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration/verification of Hach devices located at our customer sites. The customer base for this role is anticipated to be a combination of municipal (i.e., drinking and wastewater treatment facilities) and industrial (i.e., power plants and food and beverage plants).
This position is part of the North America Field Service Team located in Portland, OR of Vancouver, WA and will be remote.
This position will also require at least 60–75% travel. You may be required to travel across the region as needed. Overnight stays will be required.
In this role, a typical day will look like:
Travel 60-75% within a 5-hour radius from Portland, OR or Vancouver, WA. You can expect to have up to on average 8 nights away each month with company-paid accommodations and meals.
Perform preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration/verification of instrumentation using established company standard work.
Promotes a positive customer experience and serves as on-site customer contact for technical and service-related problems.
Submits prompt, accurate service reports that affect billing, inventory, instrument history, and instrument failure.
Follows safe work practices according to company policy and executes administrative activities in support of service visits.
The essential requirements of the job include:
1 to 3 years of field service experience and/or customer facing roles preferred.
HS Diploma or equivalent; Technical Degree preferred, or combination of education and experience: (Mechanical, Electrical, Water background) preferred.
Electronics and electrical background - basic electronics are required and used daily to diagnose instrumentation performance
Basic mechanical aptitude is a must; experience with preventative maintenance and technical diagnosti
