Global Combustion Lead Engineer (f/m/d) 

Responsibilities & Qualifications

What awaits you: 

• You develop and apply technical training to our shop floor engineers and technicians, providing technical support and expertise. 

• You propose, justify and lead complex projects for a site, machine center or process area to design, modify, upgrade, maintain, or troubleshoot of plant manufacturing equipment. 

• You contribute to and may lead projects with multi-plant or regional impact, participate in projects with multi-region impact. 

• Meet assigned project commitments, and negotiate major project timelines and deliverables 

• Lead gathering of customer (internal or external) requirements and feedback. 

• Oversee delivery of data, reports, and communication to project stakeholders 

• You monitor and troubleshoot process issues, improve processes, procedures, equipment and controls to ensure cost, quality, production, safety and environmental aspects / goals of the machine centers are met. 

• You develop, design and implement new equipment and control system upgrades required to improve process capability, quality, safety, efficiency and reduce operating costs and cycle times. 

• You continually evaluate the existing processes, equipment functions and technologies in use to identify opportunities and drive improvements in your work area or outside of work. 

• You identify impediments to process or machine efficiency and drive change in inefficient work processes impacting operations in area of accountability. 

• You drive your team towards customer centric innovation. 

 

How you convince us: 

• You have a University Degree and 12+ years related experience or a Master's Degree and 8+ years related experience 

• You hold a Bachelor or Graduate degree from an Engineering program that allows engineering licensure 

• You are fluent in English (C1-Level) and preferably in German (C1-Level) as well 

• You are able to communicate effectively with field engineers up to senior management 

• You are willing to travel around 25% of the time within Europe and internationally
