### **About the role:**
We’re looking for an experienced DeFi / FinTech Product Designer to join a team of design-minded software engineers! We’re passionate about simplifying complex ideas and delivering best-in-class experiences on the intersection of design and DeFi. As a senior member of the team, you’ll co-create our design strategy, and collaborate cross-functionally with our engineering team members, and elevate the experience of DELV’s products through meaningful product design. We’re currently staffing to deliver improvements to http://hyperdrive.box!

### **What you'll do**

• Lead User Experience: of DeFi product(s) and features, from discovery to delivery, while partnering with engineering, marketing, business development, and legal
• Refine Ideas: Take big, conceptual (sometimes ambiguous) ideas and refine them into usable experiences that delight traders
• Design Broadly: Utilize a broad design skillset: product design, UX/UI design, accessibility, and brand
• Level Up DELV's Design System: Working with, evolving, and leveling up our design system
• Activate Your Product Mindset: Contribute your product thinking into strategic decisions for the future of the business and DeFi space
• Prototype: Create interactive prototypes and articulate your vision of the intended experience
• Champion Collaboration: Champion a culture of design and collaboration at DELV

### **Qualifications**

• Experience building and shipping beautifully designed FinTech or DeFi products; articulating not just the result, but the process
• A deep, multifaceted skill set in product design that includes UX, visual design, and product, and product thinking in various contexts and mediums
• Experience in a startup environment, particularly involving direct collaboration with marketing and engineering teams
• The ability to ideate and deliver within an iterative design process; taking feedback from peers and partners
• Competence within design software (Figma, Adobe products)
• Experience working with remote teams and clients with strong opinions, this position requires a curiosity, ability to read the room, and work with cross-functional stakeholders
• A passion for onchain finance, blockchain technology, and DeFi
• Fluency in English

### **Preferred Qualifications**

• A network of industry DeFi design contacts that align with DELV target audiences and markets
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous business situations; open to acting quickly and iterating
• Empathy, curiosity, and desire to constantly improve, acquire new skills, and drive to results
• Proficiency in an additional language
