• A Master’s in the applied concentration or a related field with extensive professional work experience in areas that allow for teaching specific course(s) is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree is preferred.
• Experience teaching online is preferred.

Preferred Education/Experience Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of specific academic discipline for the instruction.
• Knowledge of pedagogical strategies and methods of student assessment.
• Ability to convey complex ideas and techniques.
• Proficient and functional knowledge of Blackboard and Moodle

• Strong communication acumen including written, oral, and listening

Physical Demands Compensation Teaching Responsibility

• Teach courses in assigned discipline by communicating subject matter clearly and effectively.
• Participate in faculty orientation sessions and training related to online course delivery and adult student population.
• Perform other duties as outlined within the teaching agreement.
