Overview

Private Duty CNA – Part-Time Evenings

Location: Memphis, TN, 38125

 

Overview:We’re seeking a dependable Private Duty CNA to provide evening care for a patient in their home. This role offers a supportive one-on-one environment and requires comfort working in a home with a dog.

 

Highlights:

• Schedule:
  • Monday: 6:30 PM – 11:30 PM
  • Tuesday through Friday: 6:30 PM – 10:30 PM
• Part-Time: 21 hours per week
• Environment: One-on-one care in the patient's home with a pet-friendly atmosphere.

Requirements:

• Current CNA certification
• CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must be dependable and punctual

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting clients with either personal care or home management tasks
• This would include assistance with basic personal hygiene and grooming, feeding and ambulation, medical monitoring, and other basic health care related tasks
• Home Management includes tasks that include basic housekeeping, shopping and other related housekeeping tasks

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirements is 18 years
• Valid driver's license, with satisfactory driving record, as defined by agency policy
• Certification, if required by state licensure as a CNA or Home Health Care Aide in the state in which the aide is to provide care
• Completion of a recognized home care aide training program or 6 months of recent experience as an aide
• Must be able to utilize proper body mechanics while lifting and may be expected to lift up 75 lbs.; must be able to sit, stand, and walk for periods of time and bend, stoop, push, pull, and reach
