Senior Associate, Learning Consultant

This role will be responsible for the design and development of a diverse set of learning materials to support our Commercial curriculum. This individual will partner closely with key business partners to translate business intent into engaging learning materials, with a focus (though not exclusively) on digital-first learning methods. This individual will analyze learning needs, design and develop blended learning solutions, and measure and report out on learning effectiveness. 

 

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deliver learning solutions and tools, from ideation to evaluation

• Leverage effective needs analysis, project management, course development, and evaluation skills

• Solid understanding and proven application of adult learning principles

• Conduct stakeholder, subject matter expert, and learner interviews

• Create curriculum roadmaps and menus and recommend the optimal blend and supporting rationale

• Determine, recommend, and document project instructional standards and strategies, learner engagement strategies, and evaluation plan

• Video and digital storyboarding, design and development

• Leverage gamification and rich media to enhance the learner experience

• Design content, including (but not limited to) measurable learning objectives, leaders and participant materials and tools, experiential scenarios and simulations, assessment and evaluation questions

• Develop online learning solutions which are engaging and creative, while still maintaining the instructional integrity and validity of the solution

• Represent learning in broader project efforts, ensuring an early focus on the implementation needs to ensure effective delivery in alignment with project timeline goals

• Engage with team members to enable clarity of goal; conduct on-going reviews to ensure outcome on track to meet needs

• Create strong behaviorally based assessments and evaluation methods

• Strong performance and learning consulting to senior leader

• Strong project management skills and strong verbal/written communication skills

• Ability to make decisions by identifying issues, diagnosing problems, generating alternative solutions and analyzing opportunities and risks

• Ability to set and achieve challenging individual goals that support department and business goals

• Ability to take responsibility for projects and follow-through to completion with minimal need for direct supervision

• Advanced use of multiple rapid development content tools (Captivate, Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, etc.) to create online courseware

• Exceptional professional communication and technical writing skills and strong customer service orientation 

Work from Home Technology Requirements:

• A secure home office environment that is free from background noise and distractions

• A reliable private internet connection that is not supplied via cellular data or hotspot 

  • A private network that is password protected where you have ownership or line of sight to every device on the network

  • Internet service must be provided by Cable or fiber Internet Service Provides (ISP) 

  • Hotspots and satellite services are prohibited and do not meet performance criteria required for optimal agent/customer interactions

  • ISP download speeds on VPN must be at least 5Mbps, with 10+ Mbps preferred

• Both Hardwire and WiFI internet connections are acceptable as long as speed and security requirements are met
