Third (Nights) (United States of America)Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital is hiring a Full Time Night Shift Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department in Charlottesville, VA! This is a three 12-hour shift position from 7P to 7A.

Emergency Department: The Main ED at SMJH sees between 70 and 100 patients per day. This well supported department is centered around teamwork and patient- first mindset. In an emergency, quick access to skilled care makes all the difference. That's why Sentara offers access to emergency services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our management team has been long standing and diligent about building a cohesive and dedicated care team to serve the Charlottesville, VA area.
Required Call: Full Time nurses have 16 hours of required call per 6 weeks. Part Time Nurses have 12 hours of required call per 6 weeks.
New Grad Orientation: New Graduates of an RN Program transitioning to the Emergency Department can expect an 20-week orientation.
Experienced Nurse Orientation: Experienced critical care nurses can expect an orientation period of 10 weeks on the unit.
Requirements:
·RN License- Required
·2 years of experience- Preferred
·Critical Care experience- Preferred
·Students in the process of completing a registered nursing program.
·Students in the process of completing Registered Nursing Licensure.
·Degree or Diploma from an accredited registered nursing program- required.
·BSN or MSN Preferred.
·ACLS & PALS Required by completion of orientation.
·BLS is required within 90 days of hire.
