<p><strong>SHIPPING & RECEIVING SPECIALIST</strong></p> <p>Mesh Optical Technologies was founded on the belief that optical photons will be at the center of advanced technologies in the coming century. Making advanced technology ubiquitous means building at scale, and that’s exactly what we’re doing at Mesh.</p> <p>We are seeking a Receiving Specialist to support the full lifecycle of incoming materials.. This is a hands-on role— you'll work closely with engineering, operations, and purchasing to make sure the right materials are in the right place at the right time. This is a ground-floor opportunity: you won't just maintain a system, you'll help us build one and improve it over time.</p> <p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p> <ul> <li>Accept, unbox, and process all incoming shipments including semiconductor wafers, optical components, PCBs, electronic components, mechanical parts, and raw materials/chemicals</li> <li>Verify incoming materials against purchase orders and packing slips, confirming correct part numbers, quantities, revisions, and condition</li> <li>Review and verify accompanying documentation including certificates of conformance (CoCs), material certifications, and data sheets</li> <li>Identify, flag, and document damaged, incorrect, or nonconforming shipments; coordinate with purchasing and vendors to resolve discrepancies</li> <li>Transact all receipts in the ERP/inventory management system accurately and in a timely manner</li> <li>Apply traceability labels and barcodes to serialized or lot-controlled parts per established procedures</li> <li>Maintain accurate stock records through regular cycle counts and periodic physical inventories</li> <li>Ensure proper handling and storage conditions for sensitive materials (ESD-sensitive components, optics, chemicals, wafers)</li> <li>Support kitting and material staging for production builds</li> <li>Maintain disciplined documentation and MES traceability.</li> </ul> <p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or equivalent certificate</li> <li>1+ years of experience in receiving, inventory, warehouse, or stockroom role</li> <li>Experience working in a manufacturing, electronics, or technical environment</li> <li>Proficiency with an ERP or inventory management system</li> <li>Ability to read and verify purchase orders, packing lists, and material documentation</li> <li>Comfortable with barcode scanners, label printers, and related warehouse tools</li> <li>Process disciplined, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure</li> <li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, and carrying f
