Who you are:

As a Quality Automation Engineering Lead, you are our leader, providing guidance and support to our Test Automation Engineers. In this role, you will lead the implementation of any Test Automation strategies that have been developed to maintain a well-functioning and improving department. What you’ll do:

  • Oversee, coach, and train Test Automation Engineers to ensure that they follow Frost’s standardized framework for Frost’s quality standards

  • Lead the implementation of any Test Automation strategies that have been developed to maintain a well-functioning and improving department

  • Act as a point of escalation for all Test Automation Engineers to solve all complex test automation questions that should arise

  • Proactively look for solutions and tools to improve the efficiency and team productivity to achieve higher automation goals

  • Take ownership of automation and non-functional testing strategies and delivery for the projects/programs assigned

  • Exercise the usual authority of a Lead by conducting performance appraisals and providing input regarding staffing, promotions, salary recommendations and terminations

  • Always take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of test automation experience

  • Demonstrated experience supervising a team

  • Technical development experience with multiple programming or scripting languages

  • Expertise with JAVA and SQL queries

  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented programming concepts

  • Expertise in independently identifying technical issues including misconfigurations and defects in code

  • Demonstrated experience in developing functional, load, and batch test automation solutions

  • Expert knowledge of the role of Test Automation and Software Quality Engineering in the development process

  • Experience with test automation frameworks using Selenium and Appium and design patterns

  • Experience with a distributed version-control management system like GIT

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Additional Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Selenium WebDriver

  • Strong knowledge in DevOps, including CI tools like Jenkin and build tools like Maven

  • Experience using automated testing tools (Junit, TestNG, Cucumber, JMeter, SoapUI)

  • Experience in the use of TDM tools, such as GenRocket, Delphix, etc.
