Role Overview:

Ordering and tracking Parts/supplies needed and parts/supplies used. This employee operates a computer terminal, keeps inventory and stock supplies.

Position Responsibilities:

• Purchases, stores and issues parts.
• Obtain PO's from purchasing dept, and assigns identifying number.
• Reads shop manuals to ascertain type and specification of parts.
• Compares invoices against requisition to verify quality and quantity of merchandise received.
• Store purchased parts in storeroom bins and issues parts to workers upon request.
• Maintain inventory and ensure availability of parts
• Assist in receiving, stocking, and organizing parts in the warehouse

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy items for extended periods
• Bend, stoop, and reach when handling parts and equipment
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment

Location: Channelview, TX

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in parts room
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
• Attention to detail and accuracy
