What We Are Looking For

Baylor University is seeking an Assistant Director of Care Team Services that will supervise and lead the team of case managers who work in Care Team Services serving students. This person will run the campus wide care team meetings twice a month with partners from all over campus in order to keep lines of communication open between offices. The Assistant Director maintains individual partnerships on campus through consistent communication and touch points as they serve students. This person will maintain data for the area of care team services, watch the trends that are happening with students on campus, and participate in wellness outreach as part of the department of student care and wellness.

A Master’s degree and five years of relevant work experience are required. 

A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of the degree requirement. 

*All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. 

What You Will Do

  • Provide case management services to students which includes reaching out to students based on referrals, meeting with students helping to connect them with resources, and working with campus partners to help connect students to these resources 
  • Provide direct supervision to the Care Team Services area including staff meetings of the care team services area, 1:1 supervision meetings with case managers, and providing overall supervision and consultation for case managers in their work with students 
  • Provide assessment data and reports for the area of Care Team Services which includes maintaining accurate data in the Maxient system, continually providing accurate data for the department, and watching trends and reporting on these in order to tell the story of the work care team services is doing
  • Support educational programming for Wellbeing Initiatives
  • Interact with faculty and staff from all areas of the university to coordinate care for students with a wide range of concerns
  • Leads biweekly care team meeting with ~40 staff in attendance to discuss students needing additional support
  • Exhibit an appreciation of, a sensitivity to, and respect for a diverse academic environment, inclusive of students, faculty and staff of many social, economic, cultural, ideological, racial and ethnic backgrounds
  • Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission
  • Ability to comply with university policies
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
