Legal Clerk - Summer Intern

Overview

REAL ALLOY is the market leader in third-party aluminum recycling and specification alloy production.  Headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, we have 17 plants strategically located across the United States, Mexico, and Canada.  We convert aluminum scrap and by-products into reusable aluminum metal for a growing number of applications across various industries. We are ideally positioned to respond to the needs of an increasingly recycling-conscious world. Advanced technologies enable us to process a large variety of scrap and dross and reduce the amount of residual waste from aluminum manufacturing that would otherwise end up as landfill.

Responsibilities

Part-time Legal Intern – Summer 2025

 

Kick-off your legal career by working with our REAL ALLOY legal team on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays this summer from 9 AM – 3 PM for 6-8 weeks.

 

In this role, you will support our attorneys by preparing and organizing discovery files in compliance with legal standards for a litigation project.

 

A high degree of organizational skills, confidentiality, and professionalism will be key to a successful candidate’s internship.

 

This paid position is open to early career legal students and is located at our REAL ALLOY Corporate Headquarters in Beachwood, Ohio. 

 

$22-25/hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of 1-2 years of law school
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
