Full-time Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm plus on-call and weekends as needed


SUMMARY: The individual in this role supports the Administrative Director in managing SkyRidge's operations, including policy development, strategy implementation, and overseeing daily activities. They play a key role in marketing, admissions, nutrition services, event planning, and staffing, ensuring high standards are maintained across departments. This position requires active participation in leadership meetings, staff training, and coordination with other departments to foster team building and achieve organizational goals. 


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Administration

  • Assists the Administrative Director in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing day-to-day operation of SkyRidge. Participates in developing, maintaining and periodically updating written policies and procedures.
  • Attends monthly leadership meetings with SJU and any AE/SJU trainings assigned by supervisor.
  • Responsible for overseeing nutrition services; ensuring that we are providing adequate nutrition services. Meets regularly with cook to discuss menus, budgets, supplies and equipment needed. 
  • Works with Activity Department to assist in planning special events and meeting with them to collaborate activities that SkyRidge will offer.
  • Works with Cottage Coordinator to ensure adequate staffing. Responsible for scheduling in the absence of Cottage Coordinator.
  • Works with Cottage Coordinator to ensure that housekeeping tasks are being completed by staff.
  • Participates in the interviewing, hiring, coaching, and termination of staff. Responsible for conducting employee reviews.
  • Provides support and training to all staff and ensure that staff are working safely.
  • Provides oversight and meet regularly with other departments at WyndStone and SkyRidge to help promote team building of heights and discuss goals as a Heights campus in support with the Administrative Director. 
  • Will do SkyRidge’s Payroll in Paylocity. 
  • Will attend monthly LDG meetings held on main campus.
  • Will assist nursing in creating and reviewing care plans. Ensure that nursing staff are reviewing and signing care plans on a regular basis. 


Marketing

  • Responsible for Marketing at SkyRidge and is proficient in understanding the ALF admits.
  • Works with other marketing staff to have a proficient system with admissions and maintain as appropriate.
  • Attends weekly case management meetings.
  • Touches base with families on a regular basis to update them, and answer any questions they have.
  • Assists in coordinating annual care plan meetings and lead those along with a 60 day check in for new admits.


Safety

  • Obeys safety rules of St. John’s United
  • Identifies, reports, and/or corrects obvious safety hazards
  • Attends mandatory safety in-services

Employee Responsibilities

  • Follows policy and procedures on TB testing.
  • Follows policy and procedures on annual influenza vaccinations.
  • Attends all mandatory in-services.
  • Maintains confidentiality of information about the Elders and their families.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Administrative Director.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred. Prior experience in a human service or health care setting preferred. Must hold a CNA license or complete the SJU CNA Course within 6 months from hire date. Must obtain certification within 120 days of class completion. Agrees to take at least 7 days of call per month and possibly more if necessary. Obtains Administrator’s Certificate within one year.


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Has knowledge of state regulations and survey process including admit requirements.
  • Demonstrates ability to coordinate and lead staff meetings with feedback from Administrative Director and communicates outcomes to the entire team.
