We’re looking for a Director, Sales to join Snap Inc! As a senior leader you will manage a team of managers and client partners across the national Retail category. You will need to have natural leadership skills; the ability to coach, develop, and challenge your direct reports; and strong senior level client-facing skills. Vertical leaders should have a deep understanding of the performance of top Retail accounts and a point of view on how they would accelerate growth across the macro category.
 

What you’ll do:

  • Have command of and be responsible for the growth of the Retail business unit at Snap and be able to inform client teams on trends within the Retail verticals

  • Manage a team of Managers and Client Partners dedicated to Big Box, Retail Media Networks, and High Street brands.

  • Build and manage relationships with key senior leaders across Snap

  • Hold your verticals accountable to revenue quotas and KPIs

  • Define, execute, and deliver KPI-driven measurement strategies and narratives

  • Understand broad industry trends and translate into strategic areas and opportunities to drive growth of the business

  • Assist Sales leadership in determining individual quotas, account lists, and headcount for business unit

  • Coach, mentor and help grow high performers to drive cross-company collaboration and impact beyond achievement to quota 

  • Influence outside of just their business unit, collaborating with XFN Teams to drive impact (i.e. working across multiple XFN groups to drive change that impacts all of the sales org) 

  • Scaling the work you do outside of just your team, impacting other verticals and team to drive revenue and success  for Snap     

  • Determining and using the inputs that drive meaningful growth for the business in the short and long-term 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization (internally and externally)

  • Masterful storyteller while working with XFN teams to improve and build upon overall Snap and industry/Category Narrative(s) 

  • Known as an industry leader externally, evident by speaking on external panels, events and external relationships  

  • Macro-level, long range planning while also ensuring the business unit hits their quarterly goals 

  • Accurately forecasts revenue across various verticals, categories, and business lines
