We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team in Grand Rapids, MI. As a Cashier at Captura Hall, you will be responsible for handling cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently while delivering excellent customer service. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with the public and take pride in their attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner

• Operate cash registers, scanners, and other point-of-sale equipment

• Process cash, credit, and debit transactions with accuracy

• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area

• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly

• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure accuracy

• Assist with stocking and organizing merchandise near the checkout area

• Follow company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and customer service

Qualifications

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred

• Strong mathematical and communication skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

• Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
