Lead a $10M+ market as an employee-owner — help build RYAN's next chapter of growth.

Ryan Lawn & Tree is a 100% employee-owned (ESOP), $100M+ Lawn & Landscape company  — and we're still growing. From our roots in the Midwest, we now serve customers across Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Nebraska, with more markets ahead for the people who grow with us. As an employee-owner, you don't just build a business here — you build equity, a career, and a team.

Sets market strategy, leads through multiple layers of management, and builds the leadership bench that fuels RYAN's long-range growth objectives and mission.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Owns full financial performance of a $10M+ market, including budgeting, forecasting, and in-year management of revenue, margin, and operating expenses.

• Sets the strategic roadmap for the market (growth priorities, capital needs, service mix, labor strategy, leadership capacity) aligned with company goals.

• Leads through multiple layers of management (Department Managers, Sr. Department Managers, and other leaders), ensuring capability, clarity, and accountability.

• Partners with commercial and marketing leaders on market positioning, account growth strategies, segment focus, and local expansion.

• Owns market-level safety and compliance performance, using data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.

• Contributes as a senior operator across markets by sharing best practices, mentoring leaders, and influencing broader operational initiatives.

• Maintains an active, visible presence in the field to validate standards, support leaders, and stay connected to execution without acting as a frontline crew member.

• Senior-level communication skills; adept at coaching, giving direct feedback, and representing the market with associates, leaders, customers, and community stakeholders.
