This position may be performed remotely anywhere within the United States except for the State of Colorado, Alaska, North Dakota, or South Dakota. Employees located within 50 miles of a BHN office will be considered a "Hybrid" employee and are required to come into the office 2 days per week based on office schedule. 

Overview

In this role you will support the global general ledger accounting team in driving process automation and optimizing operational processes.    

Responsibilities

• Design and implement effective database solutions and models to store and retrieve company data.
• Lead data tier architecture and design processes for the accounting team
• Partner with senior level product owners and end user groups to define business requirements, and guide the technical build-out/support of databases, query tools, and reporting dashboards
• Examine and identify database structural necessities by evaluating client operations, applications, and programming.
• Evaluate and optimize current systems and processes to integrate data sharing, and optimize operational processes
• Prepare accurate database design and architecture reports for management and executive teams.
• Collaborate with accounting, development and business teams
• Monitor the system performance by performing regular tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new features.
• Educate staff members through training and individual support.
• Offer support by responding to system problems in a timely manner

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or relevant field.
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of database structure systems and data mining.
• Expert-level knowledge of SQL Server and Oracle and experience working with HTML5 CSS, Java, C#, XML, VBA and MS Power applications
• Understanding of various relational and non-relational database technologies along with their benefits, downsides, and best use-case
• Willingness and commitment to learn other database, automation, and Cloud technologies
• Proven ability to preside over full project life cycles spanning multiple business departments,
• Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
• Outstanding problem solver

Benefits

Salary Range for all U.S. Residents (excluding Alaska, California, North Dakota, South Dakota): $125,100.00 to $168,900.00

Salary Range for California Residents Only: $157,030.00 to $212,000.00
