Job Description

As the Senior Director, Visa Data Access and Streaming Services, you will manage Visa’s Data Access and Streaming services to enable clients and third parties to offer valueadded services levering Visa payment data while enabling consumers to have greater control over their data. Additionally, this role will contribute to the strategy, prioritization, and development of the Service.  The Sr. Director of Data Access and Streaming Services will report to the Vice President, Marketplace Development and Data Commercialization in the Global Data Office.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

•15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 12 years of experience with an
Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with 9+ years of experience
• End to end project management of the platform from the perspective of strategy, design, go to
market, penetration, adoption, and enhancement in partnership with technology
• Develop and lead a multiyear roadmap in collaboration with the Global Data Solutions team that will
drive future revenue while also navigating the nuances of evolving regulatory changes in the
consumer data open banking space.
• Drive near term platform consolidation efforts to realize organization efficiencies through a single
Data Access and Streaming technology platform
• Drive program from MVP/development stage to general availability Develop commercial framework,
and pricing models for internal business functions/regions and external third parties work with
regions and markets for specific development gotomarket plans for the rollout of Visa’s Data
Access and Streaming services
• Work with Global Partnership team and Regional leads to manage Partner engagements ensuring a
clear path from “development partner” to “commercial partner”
• Creatively envision and surface through internal engagement future data access and streaming
business models and use cases that lever Visa’s core infrastructure
• Ensure product end to end experience is a seamless as possible, and client adoption of the product
is as easy as possible. Optimize for customer trust and customer control as key metrics to success
in this space
• Working closely cross functionally with Tech, Data Office, Legal/Risk, etc. to managing internal
processes such as PIA, NBIA
• Close monitoring of market trends, emerging technologies, and prospective partners in key markets
• Become a subject matter expert who can socialize Visa’s Data Access and Streaming strategy
across the enterprise as well as externally. Report out on progress, and escalate challenges and
resolve as needed. Support client engagements for market feedback and position Visa as a
thought leader in the space.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
