Software Engineering Manager

As the Software Engineering Manager at Paymerang, you will be responsible for guiding and supervising a team of technical professionals, ensuring the successful delivery of projects, and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. You will utilize your strong technical expertise and leadership abilities to drive the team's performance, enhance productivity, and achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Lead the work of a team of technical professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to drive their professional growth and development.
• Foster a positive and collaborative team culture that encourages innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed within established timelines
• Demonstrate deep technical knowledge and expertise in relevant technologies and domains.
• Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and technical solutions to team members when needed.
• Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain technical excellence
• Assess project requirements, allocate resources effectively, and optimize team performance.
• Monitor workloads and assignments, ensuring tasks are distributed appropriately based on individual strengths and project needs. Identify and address any resource constraints or bottlenecks to ensure smooth project execution.
• Foster effective communication and collaboration within the team and across departments
• Facilitate regular team meetings, provide status updates, and ensure effective information sharing
• Coordinate with stakeholders to understand their needs, address concerns, and maintain strong relationships
• Ensure that deliverables meet the highest quality standards and align with defined project requirements.
• Implement quality assurance processes and best practices to minimize errors, improve efficiency, and maximize client satisfaction.

Requirements

• Strong technical background with expertise in relevant programming languages, frameworks, and technologies.
• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and inspire team members, foster collaboration, and drive results.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze situations, identify solutions, and make informed judgments.
• Proven experience in project management.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities, work independently, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A passion for continuous learning and staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
