The Group is split into four areas: North America, EMEA, APAC and Latin America. </span></p> <p> </p> <p><span>The EMEA Insurance team currently maintains 120+ public ratings and a number of private ratings in Western Europe, CEE, CIS, the Middle East and Africa. The department employs a team of 16 credit analysts in London, Frankfurt, Paris, Madrid and Dubai.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span>The role primarily focuses on a portfolio of Italian insurers with opportunities to gain exposure within the wider EMEA region.</span></p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><span><strong><span>How You’ll Make an Impact:</span></strong></span><span><span> </span></span></p> <ul type="disc"> <li><span>Support and lead rating processes for a portfolio of credits focusing on Italian insurance companies</span></li> <li><span>Present and discuss your rating recommendations, ideas and facts effectively in writing and verbally to a rating committee</span></li> <li><span>Deliver quality outputs to internal and external parties within deadlines</span></li> <li><span>Use effective questioning and listening skills in internal credit discussions and with external stakeholders</span></li> <li><span>Participate/Lead onsite and virtual meetings with insurance executive management teams </span></li> <li><span>Initiate and assist in producing thematic research reports in your coverage sectors</span></li> <li><span>Participate in investor and prospective issuers outreach</span></li> <li><span>Keep fully up to date with market/industry developments and proactively manage your rating portfolio in response to credit events</span></li> </ul> <p><span><span> </span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><strong><span>You May be a Good Fit if you have:</span></strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li><span>Fluency in English and Italian </span></li> <li><span>At least 5 years of work experience within the insurance industry, financial institutions or financial services</span></li> <li><span>Knowledge of Italian insurance industry </span></li> <li><span>Knowledge of IFRS 17 and Italian accounting </span></li> <li><span>Independent thought and solid credit analysis skills</span></li> <li><span>Knowledge of regulatory solvency standards </span></li> <li><span>Financial forecasting skills</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><span><strong><span>Wh</span></strong></span><span><strong><span>at Would Make You Stand Out:</span></strong></span><span><span> </span></span></p> <ul type="disc"> <li><span>Actuarial, accounting or auditing qualifications</span></li> <li><span>Familiarity with financing instruments and documentation</span></li> <li><span>Drive to complete assignments in collaboration with more experienced analysts</span></li> <li><span>Track rec
