Description
Lead Integrated Care That Strengthens Outcomes Across Behavioral HealthThe Assistant Senior Director – Behavioral Health Healthcare Home plays a key leadership role in advancing Compass Health Network’s Healthcare Home (HCH) services. As a member of the HCH Leadership Team, this position provides strategic and operational leadership to Regional Nurse Directors (RNDs), ensuring high-quality nursing care management, consistent processes, and strong collaboration across behavioral health, primary care, and community-based services.
Hybrid position, open to Missouri residents with travel to various Compass locations to provide nursing support in clinics, quarterly and as needed for other meetings across the state required.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, supervision, and mentorship to Regional Nurse Directors, supporting consistent nursing care management practices
- Strengthen onboarding, training, and competency processes for nursing leadership and care management teams
- Champion quality improvement, integration, and population health initiatives across Healthcare Home operations
- Review dashboards, reports, and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement and operational alignment
- Partner with behavioral health programs (CPRC, SUD, outpatient, and others) to ensure seamless care coordination
- Support staffing coordination, caseload coverage, and continuity of services during vacancies or leave periods
- Facilitate leadership meetings, clinic visits, and in-person engagement to support alignment and communication
- Maintain compliance with state Healthcare Home guidance, program standards, and reporting requirements
- Contribute to staff engagement initiatives, quality assurance activities, and strategic projects that support program growth
Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Associate degree in nursing required
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
- At least two (2) years of supervisory experience required
- Experience in the behavioral health field preferred
- RN licensed in Missouri required
- Enjoy mentoring and developing nursing leaders across multiple teams or regions
- Are comfortable using data, dashboards, and feedback to guide decision-making
- Have experience working within behavioral health or integrated care settings
- Thrive in collaborative environments that bridge clinical care, operations, and strategy
- Are motivated by strengthening systems that expand access and improve care outcomes
