As a Senior Program Manager for Physician & Society Relations and Fellowship Strategy, you will lead critical programs that build physician advocacy, advance professional education, and strengthen our presence within key societies and fellowship institutions. Your efforts will ensure the next generation of specialists is equipped to deliver optimal outcomes with our breakthrough therapies, including innovations in Sacral and Tibial Neuromodulation.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Lead development and execution of strategic physician and society engagement to include fellowship support programs aligned with Pelvic Health business goals.
Establish and maintain strong partnerships with physician societies and academic institutions to support education, training, and advocacy.
Act as key contact for Pelvic Health organization to our physician consultants.
Shape and manage fellow and resident education strategies, including funding processes, onboarding, curriculum input, and ongoing relationship management.
Participate and support Medtronic-sponsored programs at major society, regional and national meetings (e.g., symposiums, workshops), ensuring high-value HCP engagement and follow-through.
Collaborate with Marketing, Medical Education, Compliance, and Sales to ensure alignment, and impactful delivery of education and advocacy initiatives.
Track, analyze, and report on program effectiveness and ROI using critical KPIs and data from source systems; implement data-driven improvements as needed.
Manage operational elements such as budgeting, sponsorship support, contract execution, and internal approvals.
Serve as a central point of coordination for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring a consistent and connected customer experience across Pelvic Health partnership initiatives.
Act as a strategic resource for leadership and field teams, providing key insights and understanding of critical partnership health, resources and content as needed to support engagements.
Responsible for identifying and implementing innovative solutions to enhance physicians and societies engagement and program effectiveness as well as conducting regular surveys or feedback sessions to refine engagement strategies
Lead efforts to forecast future needs in physician engagement and society relations, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of industry developments.
Create strategies to embed diversity and inclusion in all physician and society engagements.
Travel – up to 40%
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 7 years of experience in physician/society relations, medical education, fellowship management, or relevant marketing/product management experience or 5 years of relevant experience with an Advanced degree.
Nice to Have
Demonstrated experience working with healthcare providers, societies, or academic institutions within the medical device or healthcare industry.
Strong project and stakeholder management skills with a track record of leading cross-functional initiatives.
Experience in urology, urogynecology, or neuromodulation therapies.
Familiarity with society partnerships and fellowship program administration in a clinical or commercial capacity.
Understanding of adult learning principles and regulatory/compliance standards for HCP interactions.
Strong communication, influence, and relationship-building skills across organizational levels and with external stakeholders.
Proficiency with CRM / data insight tools to manage physician engagements.
