Senior Accountant (6 months contract)

Come be a part of our success story!<u>​​​​​​​</u></p><h3>Descripción del empleo</h3><p>This role is a temporary substitution of a senior accountant due to a maternity leave ( 6 months contract).</p><p>The senior accountant will perform all types of senior accounting and reporting tasks to support the head of accounting in a process of delegation of tasks.</p><p><u><strong>Tasks</strong></u></p><ul><li>Review all accounting activities within Iberia, including preparation of the annual / quarterly / monthly FS.</li><li>Posting of entries (AP, AR, Payroll, provisions, etc.) in all the Iberian entities.</li><li>Joint elaboration of weekly payment runs for all the Iberian entities.</li><li>Responsibility over the general ledger and all subledgers.</li><li>Joint responsibility for relevant questions from internal departments, auditors and tax authorities</li><li>Joint management of reporting activities for Iberian entities, following corporate rules.</li><li>Joint supervision of Iberian internal controlling activities (Budget, Headcount, IC transactions).</li><li>Helping in the optimization of accounting processes in relation with group policies.</li><li>Responsible for financial instruments valuations and bookings, if required.</li><li>Elaboration of ad-hoc reports.</li><li>Joint management of 3 Junior Accountants.</li><li>Joint point of contact for all Accounting topics, including payments and internal reporting activities.</li></ul><h3>Requisitos</h3><ul><li>Bachelor ‘s Degree in Accounting, Administration or Economics.</li><li>At least five-year work experience in Accounting roles, with 2 years of Senior exposure (Renewables/Energy sector an advantage).</li><li>Very good knowledge of accounting and tax law according to PGC (IFRS an advantage).</li><li>Safe handling of accounting programs and experience in the further development of an ERP system (Business Central an advantage).</li><li>High level of commitment, communication and team skills.</li><li>Fluent in Spanish and English (German would be an advantage).</li></ul>
