What are we looking for?

• Architect, design, build, develop, test, and/or implement software applications. Conduct business and technical analysis, code reviews, and unit testing. Implement, and produce technical documentation of solutions for new development, system enhancements, and production support.
• Design, develop, and implement modifications and corrections to existing software, including the development of debugging routines.
• Perform regular check-ins to continuous integration of systems and/or software applications.
• Participate in cross-functional teams and work with architects, systems analysts, project managers, QA and other developers to implement business requirements while applying the latest available tools and technology.
• Work under direct supervision to ensure on-time delivery of projects, production support plans, and knowledge transfer for long-term supportability of upgrades, enhancements, and deployments.
• API/Full stack development to build out features of Visa’s Data Mesh solution.  Build components in Java, Python, React etc. to build a self-service Data discovery and data pipeline management platform.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
• Experience in the following: Java, Python, React and/or Scala
• Full-Stack Engineering experience highly preferred.
• Building and deploying modern web applications with quality and scalability, Angular, React, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Test, Dev-ops, and Agile/Scrum teams.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
