Note: This position is remote in the state of North Carolina.

Who we need:

The Director of Operations is a member of the senior leadership team and oversees all operational functions, provides direction and makes operational decisions in order to adhere to all contractual agreements. They manage, monitor and complete assigned work plan projects to comply with performance standards.

What you’ll do:

· Oversees all functional areas of the Operations Department.

· Collaborates with the Executive Director and other members of the program’s leadership team to ensure operations runs smoothly across all departments and all programs.

· Assurance of contract compliance by delivering quality services and meeting all contractual compliance for all programs.

· Implements and maintains systems to ensure employee productivity.

· Assesses, plans and directs resources and initiatives to consistently promote the goals of the Department, protect the resources of North Carolina.

· Proactively anticipates and prevents problems that could result in customer dissatisfaction or failure to deliver contracted services.

· Ensures Quality Performance/Quality Improvement indicators are established, measured, reported and resolved.

· Establish reporting measures to maintain compliance with RFP and Key Performance Indicators.

· Responsible to recognize risk and implement plans to control and avoid such risk in coordination with corporate resources.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • 5+ years staff/workload management experience required.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office applications.  Expert proficiency in Excel.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and contribute both as an individual and a team member to achieve the goals of the department.
  • Ability to professionally respond to change and handle multiple and changing priorities with sometimes conflicting deadlines.
  • Knowledge and willingness to become a subject matter and thought leader for designated programs.

Experience

  • Experience with State Medicaid programs strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations, strongly preferred.
