Support Services Project Manager – Baton Rouge, LA - Onsite

Job Description:

• The scope of the proposed services will include the following: 
• Preparing and sending submittals and deliverables, including the Project Management work Plan, Progress Reports, and comprehensive Roadmap. 
• Planning and executing project communications with project team, key agency stakeholders and outside vendors; 
• Coordinating meeting with key stakeholders; 
• Conduct data gathering sessions; 
• Optimize resources for cost savings; 
• Maintaining all project records; 
• Provide day-to-day project management support; 
• Analyzing project risk and issues, help identify ways to mitigate risks; 
• Conduct cost/benefit analysis; 
• Present assessment findings to agency and recommend a phased approach that includes priorities and estimated cost that address desired outcomes. 
• Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory: 
• 3 years of experience in a leadership role, such as a previous project management role, supervisory role, or other management role; 
• Experience with electronic document management projects; 
• Experience with operations, technology implementation and change management; 
• Strong skills in collaborating with people who have different roles; 
• Expert communication skills to create optimal collaboration; 
• Proven record in sourcing resources, using effective strategies, clarifying goals for the team and guiding the project’s idea into a tangible entity; 
• Keeping the team in check and meeting deadlines to complete the project in its set timeframe; 
• Ability of keeping records of progress, collecting data and filing reports of the project’s status; 
• Proven record of adhering to a budget. 
• Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are desirable but not mandatory: 
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus; 
• Experience with State Government project management a plus;
