What you will do
- Provide project management, coordination, and technical support throughout all phases of the UNS Siting and Outreach Process in order to secure CEC from the Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC).
- Stay current on energy resource and transmission line requirements and general design standards.
- Communicate with Management to ensure that proposed projects meet UNS goals. Lead formal and informal meetings concerning assigned projects
What you bring
- Requires a Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering field or Environmental/Urban Planning. Combination of education and experience in project management, engineering, and/or planning may be considered; and four (4) or more years of professional experience
- Is a self-starter and has developed good time management skills, completing all assignments on time.
- Preferred – experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and analysis

Position Description
Provide overall project management for UNS transmission line and energy resource siting projects from inception through issuance of Certificate of Environmental Compatibility (CEC), including compliance with any conditions following CEC approval. Responsibilities include project definition, budgeting, permitting, scheduling, cost control, community/stakeholder outreach, and expert witness testimony.
