This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

Job Mission

ASML's installed base of lithography and metrology continues to grow in size and importance to ASML. Due to ASML's continued release of new generations of equipment, the long lifetime of our equipment and the diverse customer base drive a continuing need for new service models and products that meet customer needs. We have an exciting opportunity for a Director of Service Business Management who is responsible for making this happen within the Intel Customer Team. This role ensures our customers get value for money in their service agreements by ensuring service products address customer needs and initiating development of service products for unmet customer needs. This role establishes and drives initiatives to improve pricing and costing in collaboration with sales and the service teams.

Role and responsibilities:

  • Creates long term Service Business strategy per customer fab that meets customers' needs and ASML’s margin targets.

  • Drives business lines / product owners to develop service offerings that meet these needs throughout the customer’s business cycle and the fab’s life cycle.

  • Drives cross sector service P&L review and ensures accountability on service and cost roadmaps.

  • Collaborates with operational teams in creating these plans and ensures they commit to on time execution at target.

  • Engages with peers in other customer teams to share best practices and apply learnings where possible for your own customer.

  • Leads preparation and review of service deals, and support service contract creation & negotiation & execution. 

  • Ensures service execution/support ramp-up in fabs and support for x-site operational efficiency. 

  • Secures / prioritizes service resource demand in case of resource conflicts.

  • Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Education and experience

  • 10+ years experience in running a service business, preferable in the semiconductor industry.

  • Experience includes both operational management of service teams, service product development as well as revenue and margin responsibility.

Skills

  • Has business insights in customer needs in semiconductor high volume manufacturing.

  • Takes initiative and can manage complexity of dealing with multiple stakeholders.

  • Financially literate and knows how to manage a P&L.

  • Drives accountability of key stakeholders.

  • Communicates effectively with internal stakeholders and customers.

  • Is pro-active, plans ahead and aligns.
