About the role

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Change Lead to support a major global HR transformation programme within a large, complex organisation. This role will lead structured people‑change activities across multiple markets and functions, ensuring the successful adoption of new HR processes, HRIS capabilities, operating models, policies, and ways of working.

You will work closely with the Change Manager, HR functional SMEs, HR technology teams, and business stakeholders to drive readiness, engagement, communication, and training across a multi‑country transformation landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver change across multiple HR workstreams or a medium‑sized HR transformation programme.
  • Conduct Change Impact Assessments across HR processes
  • Execute stakeholder analysis, persona mapping, and country‑level readiness assessments.
  • Develop structured change plans aligned to HR transformation methodologies and deployment waves.
  • Support go‑live, hypercare, and smooth transition to BAU, ensuring HR teams and managers are fully enabled.
  • Develop and maintain training plans for HR system and process changes (ideally Workday, SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or similar).
  • Coordinate global training activities and ensure consistency across markets.
  • Deliver train‑the‑trainer sessions for HR teams, People Partners, and functional SMEs.
  • Create clear, engaging communications that explain HR changes, impacts, role expectations, and timelines.
  • Engage with senior HR leaders, People Partners, business stakeholders, product owners, and project teams to ensure alignment and buy‑in.
  • Facilitate HR/People‑focused workshops, global change forums, and decision‑making sessions.
  • Build trusted relationships across HR, business functions, and technology teams.
  • Maintain realistic change, communications, and training plans that align with programme timelines and HR system release cycles..
  • Manage scope changes and communicate impacts, securing formal approvals.
  • Track readiness indicators, training completion, role impacts, and operational risks related to HR transformation
  • Lead lessons‑learned sessions, knowledge transfer, and continuous improvement. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Change Management certification 

Desirable

  • Experience with major HRIS systems: Workday, SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, Dayforce, etc.
  • Retail, multi‑market, or shared‑services HR environment experience.
  • Certification in HR, OD, or Business Consulting.
  • Additional experience in data literacy, analytics, or HR reporting.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Essential skills

  • 5+ years in Change Lead, HR Transformation, or People‑Change roles.
  • Experience delivering change within HR transformation or HRIS implementation programmes.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and client-facing skills.
  • Strong understanding of HR process design, operating models, and service delivery environments
  • High emotional intelligence and collaborative approach.
  • People management skills - introducing and building ways in which people can learn from each other, encouraging mentoring and the transfer of knowledge by designing and delivering learning interventions
  • Team work and emotional intelligence
  • Good self-management – continuous performance is both an objective and a mind-set
  • Innovative thinker who embraces problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Experience

  • 5+ years in Change Lead, HR Transformation, or People‑Change roles.
  • Experience delivering change within HR transformation or HRIS implementation programmes.
  • Experience delivering change across multiple projects or a medium-sized programme, or within a team on a large programme, ideally in a global/multi-country transformation within a large organisation (20K+ employees)
  • Hands‑on experience performing Change Impact Assessments, stakeholder analysis, communications, and training planning
  • Strong understanding of change management frameworks and structured delivery environments
  • Experience supporting go‑live preparation, hypercare, and BAU transition
