Lead Business Systems Analyst

As a Lead Business Systems Analyst, you will formulate, define, and document system and applications objectives. You’ll use research and fact-finding skills to develop or modify complex systems that support the actuarial valuations and/or investments divisions. You will also prepare detailed specifications from which systems and applications will be developed and maintained.

What you will do:

• Formulate, define, and document system and application scope and objectives, working closely with systems architecture, development and engineering teams
• Perform key portions of the system development lifecycle including gathering, documenting, and analyzing requirements for highly complex, multi-platform applications
• Maintain documentation, project tracking, and key stakeholder reporting metrics
• Perform highly complex system/application testing to ensure delivery meets business and end-user expectations
• Provide day-to-day support to existing applications and troubleshoots system/applications performance issues as they arise
• Participate in the production support rotation to monitor the support mailbox and address issues
• Act as the primary liaison between key business area and systems teams, and communicates project feasibility, status and issues to key stakeholders

What you will bring:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience working as a Business Analyst
• Proven collaboration skills as a trusted leader, providing oversight and guidance to the team
• Participates in leadership-initiated vendor engagement to aid in resolution of contract personnel issues
• Ability to forge and maintain strong business partnerships

• Software development background
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems
• Master’s degree in a related technical or business field

Base Salary Range

$92,400.00 - $130,500.00

The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
