Job Purpose
As an integral part of the Quality Management team, the Quality Management Assistant will support the Quality Management Director in carrying out the various functions of Quality Management including Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI), Patient Safety, Accreditation Preparedness, Peer Review, and Utilization Review.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Duty
Percent of Time
Assist in investigation of Patient Safety Events, reports trends, and assists with the monthly Patient Safety Committee meetings.

Collaborates with Department leaders to ensure that policy and processes are compliant with accreditation requirements.

Maintains/Inputs Data for the QAPI and POC dashboards, and ensures continued compliance with CMS, ACHC and other regulatory agencies in collaboration with the director of quality.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma required. Associate Degree or higher preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of three years in a healthcare environment; prior experience in healthcare quality highly preferred.
License/Certification/Credential:
Current and unrestricted licensure in the healthcare field (if applicable).
