At our Clinton, TN site, we're seeking a talented individual to join our team as an Hourly Production Trainer. If you have a background that includes employee training in a manufacturing environment, expertise in writing Standard Work Instructions, proficient computer skills in MS, experience managing and maintaining training databases ā we want to hear from you!
Your Role: As a Production Trainer, you'll play a crucial role in supporting managers and employees in their on-the-job tasks related to processes, procedures, equipment, safety, and quality initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering, facilitating, and evaluating learning activities and job training at the plant level.
- Collaborating with the Project Manager/Continuous Improvement Manager to implement new training formats and documentation, including standard work instructions, videos for on-the-job training, testing, and verification of training.
- Managing and maintaining all training documents, qualification records, logs, skills, certifications, and metrics to ensure compliance with standards.
- Conducting periodic audits of processes, training systems, and facilitating necessary follow-up training activities.
- Developing and applying assessment tools to measure training effectiveness, ensuring standardized processes are followed.
- Preparing reports such as the Skills Matrix visual board and scorecards.
What You Need: To hit the ground running in this role, you should possess:
- 2+ years' experience in a formal training role in a manufacturing environment; Training/Instructor certification(s) preferred.
- Experience with manufacturing processes; knowledge about extrusion processes and/or ISO 9000 or TL9000 certification processes is a huge plus.
- Effective communication skills to engage with different personalities and adapt training to different adult learning types.
- Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrated abilities in mentoring and supporting employees.
- Demonstrated presentation skills for small group and/or classroom training.
- Demonstrated strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple trainees.
- Enthusiastic attitude, receptiveness to questions, and the ability to effectively deliver training.
- A great attendance record, understanding that Teamwork & Reliability are key!

The compensation for this position will typically range from $24.00 ā $27.00/hour.Ā The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience and internal equity.
